Gravity Die Casting (GDC) Machine manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Gravity Die Casting (GDC) Machines

A Gravity Die Casting machine, usually just called a GDC machine, is the workhorse behind most aluminium components you'll find in a two-wheeler, pump housing or electrical fitting. Instead of forcing molten metal into the die under pressure, the operator pours it in and lets gravity do the filling — which is exactly why the machine's tilting mechanism, die alignment and clamping force matter so much for casting quality. At our Pune facility, we build Tilting, Stationary, Alloy Wheel, Vertical and Horizontal GDC machines, and we don't stop at a fixed range of sizes. Tell us your platen width, daylight requirement and clamping tonnage, and our team designs the machine around your die rather than asking you to adjust your die around ours. That's a distinction foundry owners notice quickly once they've dealt with off-the-shelf equipment that almost fits. Every frame is fabricated in-house, every hydraulic circuit is assembled and pressure-tested on our floor, and every unit is run through a trial cycle before it leaves MIDC Bhosari. We've shipped these machines to foundries across Maharashtra, Gujarat and beyond, and to customers in the UAE, and the same engineer who designed your machine is the one who signs off on it before dispatch.

  • CLAMPING FORCE 5 – 250 Tons
  • TYPES Tilting, Stationary, Vertical, Alloy Wheel
  • USE CASE Aluminium & non-ferrous casting

Hydraulic Press Machine manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Hydraulic Press Machines

Ask ten fabricators what they need a "hydraulic press" for and you'll get ten different answers — deep drawing, punching, straightening, forging, or simply pressing a bearing into place on an assembly line. That's really why we don't manufacture just one style of press. We build Four Column, H-Frame, C-Frame, Workshop and specialised Deep Drawing, Punching, Baling and Forging presses, each configured around the load, stroke and cycle time your process actually demands. A press meant for slow, high-tonnage forging work is built very differently from one meant for fast-cycle punching, and getting that difference right is what keeps a machine running reliably instead of breaking down under the wrong duty cycle. Our design team works out the ram travel, daylight and bed size with you before a single plate gets cut, and the hydraulic power unit, cylinders and control panel are all assembled in-house so we can tune the whole system as one unit rather than bolting together parts from different vendors. Every press is trial-run under load at our Pune workshop before dispatch. We've supplied these machines to manufacturers across India — from Nashik and Aurangabad to Gujarat, Bangalore and Kerala — and to export customers in the UAE.

  • CAPACITY 5 – 500 Tons
  • TYPES Four Column, H-Frame, C-Frame, Workshop
  • USE CASE Forming, punching, drawing, assembly

Hydraulic Power Pack manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Hydraulic Power Packs

A hydraulic power pack, sometimes called a hydraulic power unit or HPU, is the pump, motor, reservoir and valve assembly that actually generates the flow and pressure a cylinder or press needs to move. It sounds simple until you realise how many things can go wrong when the flow rate, pressure rating or reservoir sizing doesn't match the machine it's feeding — overheating, sluggish cycle times, or a cylinder that just won't hold its position under load. We manufacture Standard, Compact, High-Pressure, Automatic and Mobile power packs at our Pune facility, and we size every unit around the actual application: how many cylinders it's driving, what flow rate they need, whether the duty cycle is continuous or intermittent, and how much space you actually have on the shop floor. A power pack meant to sit inside a press base needs a very different footprint from one feeding a mobile baler. Pumps, motors, valves and the electrical panel are assembled and wired in-house, and each unit is run under pressure before it ships so you're not the one discovering a leak or a noisy pump after installation. We supply power packs across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Hyderabad, Kerala and other states, as well as to customers in the UAE.

  • PRESSURE Up to 350 Bar
  • TYPES Standard, Compact, Automatic, Mobile
  • USE CASE Presses, cylinders, custom machinery

Hydraulic Baler machine manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Hydraulic Balers

If your factory floor is losing space to loose scrap metal, waste cardboard or plastic offcuts piling up faster than you can clear them, a hydraulic baler is usually the fix. It compresses bulky waste into dense, uniform bales that are far easier to store, transport and sell to scrap dealers, which turns a housekeeping headache into an actual recovery of material value. We build heavy-duty hydraulic balers designed for continuous compaction cycles rather than occasional light use, because that's the difference between a machine that survives a decade on a busy shop floor and one that starts leaking oil within months. The compaction chamber, ram and hydraulic circuit are sized to the material you're baling — scrap steel behaves very differently under pressure than shredded cardboard or aluminium turnings — so we work out chamber dimensions, bale density and cycle speed with you before fabrication starts. Frames are welded and machined in-house at our MIDC Bhosari unit, and the complete hydraulic system is pressure-tested before the baler goes anywhere near a customer's floor. Whether you're running a scrap yard, a recycling unit or an in-house waste management line inside a larger manufacturing plant, we can size a baler that matches your daily waste volume.

  • CAPACITY Custom, by material type
  • USE CASE Scrap metal, cardboard, plastic compaction
  • DUTY Continuous industrial cycles

Die Spotting Press Machine manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Die Spotting Press Machines

Before a new die ever runs a full production batch, someone has to check that both halves are actually meeting the way they were designed to — and that's the job a die spotting press exists to do. Toolmakers use it to bring the upper and lower die together under controlled, low-speed pressure, read the contact marks, then pull the die back out for hand-fitting and adjustment before trying again. It's slow, deliberate work, which is why the press itself needs precise ram control, a rotatable or tilting bolster in many configurations, and enough visibility around the die area for the toolmaker to actually see what's happening. We manufacture die spotting presses built for exactly this kind of try-out and tool room work, with attention to platen flatness, ram parallelism and controllable low-speed operation rather than raw tonnage — that's not where the value is in this machine. Bed size and ram stroke are matched to the die sizes your tool room actually works with, and the hydraulic system is built for the fine, repeatable control a toolmaker needs rather than the fast cycling of a production press. Every unit is fabricated and assembled at our Pune facility and tested before dispatch, and we've supplied these presses to tool rooms and die-casting units across India.

  • CAPACITY Custom, by die size
  • USE CASE Die try-out, tool room fitting
  • FEATURE Rotatable / tilting bolster options

Hydraulic Trimming Press Machine manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Trimming Press Machines

A casting or forging rarely comes out of its die looking finished — there's almost always flash, sprues or excess runner material clinging to the edges, and a trimming press is what removes it cleanly in a single controlled stroke. Instead of grinding or manually cutting that excess material away, the component is placed into a matched trim die and the press shears off the unwanted material in one pass, which saves time and gives a far more consistent edge finish across a production batch. We build hydraulic trimming presses sized to the components you're producing, whether that's aluminium die castings, forged automotive parts or other metal components coming off a casting line. Getting the shearing force, ram speed and die alignment right matters more here than raw tonnage, since a poorly matched trim press either leaves flash behind or distorts the component along the trim line. Our team works out die space, stroke length and shearing capacity with you based on the parts you're finishing, and the complete press — frame, hydraulic cylinders, power pack and controls — is fabricated, assembled and trial-run at our MIDC Bhosari facility before it's dispatched. It's a natural companion machine for foundries and forging units already running our GDC or press equipment.

  • CAPACITY Custom, by component size
  • USE CASE Flash & sprue removal, casting finishing
  • PAIRS WITH GDC & forging production lines

Dish End Press Machine manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Dish End Press Machines

Every pressure vessel, storage tank or boiler needs a dished or domed end cap, and forming that curved shape out of a flat metal plate takes a press built specifically for the job — which is what a dish end press does. The flat plate, usually mild steel or stainless steel depending on the vessel's application, is pressed in stages against a die that gradually shapes it into the required dish, torispherical or elliptical profile, with plate thickness, diameter and material grade all affecting how much tonnage and how many forming passes are needed. We manufacture dish end presses configured around the plate sizes and thicknesses our customers actually work with — a fabricator forming end caps for small industrial tanks needs a different machine from one producing large-diameter pressure vessel heads. Bed size, ram stroke and hydraulic capacity are worked out for your product range before fabrication begins, and the frame, cylinders and power unit are all built and tested in-house at our Pune facility. Since dish end forming is a heavier, slower forming operation than most press work, we pay particular attention to frame rigidity and cylinder synchronisation so the plate forms evenly without wrinkling or thinning unevenly across the dish profile.

  • CAPACITY Custom, by plate size & thickness
  • USE CASE Pressure vessel & tank end forming
  • MATERIAL MS, SS & other plate grades

Rubber Compression Molding Machine manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Rubber Compression Molding Machines

Rubber compression molding is how most gaskets, seals, grommets and moulded rubber components are actually produced — a measured slug of uncured rubber is placed in a heated mould cavity, the press closes and applies pressure, and the rubber is held under heat and load long enough to vulcanise into its final shape. Getting consistent parts out of this process depends on the press holding steady platen temperature and pressure across the full cure cycle, sometimes running for several minutes at a stretch, without the daylight or clamping force drifting. We build compression molding presses with heated platens, adjustable pressure and cure-time control, sized around the mould sizes and part volumes our customers are running — a small parts moulder producing seals in bulk has very different throughput needs from a unit moulding larger rubber components in smaller batches. Platen size, tonnage and heating arrangement are worked out with you before we start fabrication, and the complete hydraulic and heating system is assembled and tested at our Pune workshop. It's equipment we supply to rubber component manufacturers, automotive parts moulders and industrial seal producers who need a press that holds its cure parameters reliably, shift after shift.

  • CAPACITY Custom, by mould size
  • FEATURE Heated platens, cure-time control
  • USE CASE Gaskets, seals, rubber components

FRP and SMC Molding Machine manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

FRP / SMC Molding Machines

Fibre-reinforced plastic and sheet moulding compound components — the kind you'll find in electrical enclosures, automotive body panels and water tank covers — are formed under a very particular combination of heat, pressure and dwell time, and the molding press has to hold all three steady for the moulding to cure properly. Too little pressure and the resin doesn't fully wet the reinforcing fibres, leaving weak spots; too little cure time and parts come out of the mould before they've properly set. We manufacture FRP and SMC molding machines with heated platens and precise pressure control, built around the mould dimensions and production volumes our customers are actually working with, since a unit producing small electrical fittings needs a very different platen size and tonnage from one moulding large panels. Our team works through mould size, required tonnage, platen temperature range and cycle time with you before the machine is designed, and the full hydraulic and heating system is assembled, wired and tested in-house at our MIDC Bhosari facility. We've supplied these presses to composite component manufacturers producing everything from switchgear panels to automotive and industrial FRP parts, and every unit is trial-run under actual moulding conditions before it's dispatched.

  • CAPACITY Custom, by mould size
  • FEATURE Heated platens, pressure & dwell control
  • USE CASE FRP & SMC composite components

Hydraulic Cylinder manufactured by Desire Hydraulics in Pune

Hydraulic Cylinders

A hydraulic cylinder is about as fundamental as hydraulic equipment gets — a piston moving inside a barrel, converting fluid pressure into the push or pull force that actually does the work in a press, lift, baler or piece of material-handling equipment. And yet very few applications call for exactly the same cylinder; bore, stroke, mounting style, rod diameter and seal type all need to match the load, speed and duty cycle of the machine the cylinder is going into, which is why we treat cylinder manufacturing as a build-to-order process rather than a catalogue pick. We machine barrels and rods, fit seals and glands, and assemble complete cylinders at our Pune workshop to whatever bore, stroke and mounting configuration your equipment calls for — whether that's a replacement cylinder for an existing press or a new design going into a machine you're building from scratch. Every cylinder is pressure-tested against its rated working pressure before it leaves our floor, because a cylinder that holds its seal on the test bench is the only kind worth installing. We supply cylinders both as standalone components and as part of the presses, power packs and GDC machines we build in-house, to customers across Maharashtra, wider India and the UAE.

  • BORE / STROKE Fully custom
  • USE CASE Presses, lifts, material handling
  • TESTING Pressure-tested before dispatch
